Norfolk & Western 1776

The United States Bicentennial (1975-1976) was a period of celebrations and observances, paying tribute to historical events leading up to the creation of the United States of America. Most of the railroads in the United States were involved in these celebrations, releasing specially painted units in various designs and colors to honor the date. Now, celebrate American Independence Day with this stylish and (almost) true-to-life adaptation to Railworks.

This reskin specifically features Norfolk & Western's entry into the Bicentennial craze. NW 1776, an Electro-Motive Division SD45 built in 1970, was fittingly their choice to wear the Bicentennial scheme. NW 1776 is now on display at the Roanoke Railroad Museum in Roanoke, Virginia, wearing its iconic Bicentennial colors.

Features:

- Custom horn & steel bell modification included.
- Miniature "Liberty Bell" on short hood.
- True-to-life designs and coloring.
