Rock Island 652

The United States Bicentennial (1975-1976) was a period of celebrations and observances, paying tribute to historical events leading up to the creation of the United States of America. Most of the railroads in the United States were involved in these celebrations, releasing specially painted units in various designs and colors to honor the date. Now, celebrate American Independence Day with this stylish and true-to-life adaptation to Railworks.

This reskin specifically features the Rock Island's own Bicentennial unit, an E-8 from General Motors' Electro-Motive Division. At the time of the Bicentennial, this unit was already over 20 years old, making it a strange but understandable choice for the near-bankrupt company. CRIP 652 is now at the Iowa Northern Railway in Manly, Iowa, unfortunately no longer wearing its Bicentennial scheme.

Features:

- Custom horn & steel bell modification included.
- Accurate recreations of real life decals.
- True-to-life designs and coloring.
